CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) completed on our ATB site at
Penrith Motorcycles. (Cost £130)
Whether you’re aiming to ride a moped on a provisional licence or the
latest super-charged street-legal bike, everyone needs to complete a
CBT before going onto the road.
The CBT is where you actually learn to ride a bike: how to start and
stop, turn and go. It takes a day to complete the training and attain
your CBT certificate. Starting with a run-through in the classroom,
you move tour our training ground at Penrith Motorcycles to complete
the practical training. When you are ready, you take your new skills
out on the road under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
Your instructor will be looking for competent use of the controls of
the bike, but also road sense, safety, awareness and confidence. You
must be in possession of your licence with a Group “A” Provisional
entitlement at the time of completing your CBT.
Eden Pro Rider Training can provide CBT’s weekdays and weekends.
