Eden, in Cumbria the Lake District, takes it's name from the beautiful River Eden which borders the Southern boundary of our campsite. Discover the areas dramatic landscapes of Ullswater, Alston and the North Pennines and the Eden Valley. Close to both the borders of Scotland and the Yorkshire Dales, this secluded and unspoilt destination will inspire, rejuvenate and refresh you at any time of the year.

The Takoda campsite is located on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Kirkby Stephen. Just five to ten minutes walk from all of the amenities that this small attractive market town.

Kirkby Stephen is easily accessible by car through key road links including, from the North or South, Junction 38 on the M6 and then the A685. East and West from the M1 (A1) A66 from Scotch Corner to Brough then A685.
